When adversity becomes you...
UPDATED: Please...say.it.ain't.so...please?
Never before has:
...a fainting spell...
...your 16-year-old son entering rehab...
...bereavement...
served anyone better than Marie Osmond and her now over-extended stay on Dancing with the Stars.
I'm watching the finale as I type this, and after watching her cartoonish freakish GARISH baby-doll-costume-wearing-self freestyle dance? W
hile I've applauded her 48-year-old feet making it this far...it's time to say buh-bye.
But Helio? Mmmmm...helllll-ooooo-my;)!
Just look at how STINKIN' ADORABLE Helio and Julianne were last night...if I can find video of their jive, I'll post it later.

seriously... if she wins this thing there will be outrage. I swear she has only come so far because she has the most enormous fan base- which shouldn't count.

Be careful -
You are going to seriously piss off all those women who buy her dolls on QVC! (and every Mormon in Utah voting for her!)

At the risk of baring a guilty pleasure for all the world to see, I will admit my Dancing With The Stars addiction and add an "amen" to your post. But thanks Marie for giving all of us 40-plus ladies a reminder that we're not too old to work it.

Marie did great, but it has been time for her to go for a couple of weeks now. Too bad the doll dance is forever etched in our memories.
Love Helio, except for the gold costume! Did you catch the "Brazilian Power Ranger" comment?

Misty, I DO think it's cool she advanced; I'm sorry Jenny was the one to go last week, though.
Karmyn, I think I'm safe, I don't think any of those two demographics read my blog....
Hulagirl, I agree with EVERY word you said!! :)
Grace, YOU'RE A DWTS watcher, too?! Why does that surprise me? We jumped on the bandwagon late, but haven't missed it in weeks now.
Janet, Early on I was a Mel fan, but Helio ultimately won me over. He's just so doggone HAPPY about it all (and seemingly unaffected).

Yeah, Marie should have been booted earlier than this, but she really has got to go. I like her, she's funny and personable and she's been doing really well, but it's time to go. I love both Helio and Mel-Helio like you said, is just so happy and sweet!! And Mel just cracks me up...she's feisty!! I'll have to tape it tonight...I'll be in class! OOF!

oh...and I got my mom hooked on it!! :)

I don't watch it, but that dress should be illegal it's so ugly.

My daughter and I have been hooked on it since it started.
That dance Marie did last night was sort of sick.
You will know who wins like three hours ahead of me (are you in Eastern tim zone?). You should email me so I won't have to stay up - just an idea. I'm good with spoilers.
