Unimaginative Brain Freeze

I saw this at Rocks in My Dryer...and was surprised by my disappointing results--

32

Seems like I forgot Viridian, Heliotrope and Caput Mortuum; and while I remembered Chartreuse, I just couldn't spell it under pressure.

Right now, I don't feel smarter than a 5th Grader kindergartner AT.ALL. (and I don't think Crayola would hire me!)!

Black_phone On a completely different note, while I was publishing the above, my phone rang.  I answered it out of pure curiosity--don't think I've ever received a call from "Hicksville, NY" (I didn't even KNOW there was such a place!).  It was a recorded message that began, "I'm calling to conduct a survey about abortion.  If you don't care to participate, simply hang up."

Good gracious...I haven't even eaten breakfast!

I hung up.

I only got 35. Not only can I not think under pressure, I can't type under pressure either.

Sigh. . .

Hanging up is something I've become very adept at. Once you realize that these people have intruded on your life and you don't really owe them any courtesy it becomes easier.

I'm not even going to try the color thing. I doubt I could name more than 5. ;D

yeah - I did this a couple of weeks ago - and two colors got stuck in my head neon green and chartreuse (which, I couldn't spell under pressure either). I think I got 32 or close to that.

The only reason I got 32 was I suddenly thought of Dave's pants - and all the varieties of khaki they came in - tan, ecru, cream, etc.... hahahaha

Yikes, I only got 22 colors. Although, I kept going for "light" and they were looking for "pale". And, I had to go look up some of the colors on their list to figure out what they were.

that color thing was the NAMES of the CRAYONS in a CRAYOLA box...not real colors as my graphic designer hubby informed me. That must be why I only got 24...I know, pitiful.

Found you through the blog party. I have enjoyed poking around. =) I'll be back again, I'm sure.

What a fun blog topic! I only got 29, so don't feel bad.

I only got 28. And only because I started thinking about fruit (tangerine, orange, lemon, etc)!

I got 37, but it wouldn't take some of the colors I put in...like PINK. It would not take in pink by itself. pooh.

Only 34 for me...not a good showing for me!

haha I got 26. Ikk! You'd think all of us moms could get more than this. I knew basic colors not many others.

isn't billy joel from hicksville, ny?

and i'm only good on shades of pink....;)
